Why are we more alone than when we are in motion, crossing international airports caught in skewed vectors that don't even take us into the city of our final destination? Yet, in an airport Hilton outside Paris,a disillusioned American engineer en route to Dubai and a French college drop-out turned maid intersect in motion, leaving complicated pasts painfully behind. And suddenly, from such quotidian encounters emerges a world of surreal magic and surprise.
